Cikgu Bertrand is one fo the five Jurulatih certified by Malaysian PSFGM to teach the art of Silat Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia in Europe. He is in charge of the developement of Silat Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia in Papensi – Padepokan Pencak Silat located in Metz, East of France.
He first met with Silat Seni Gayung Fatani in early 2000’s at Tuan Raban’s Silat Club. Guru Raban introduced his closest students to Malay Guru in the homeland of Silat and Cikgu Bertrand since followed an intensive training every year under the guidance of Cikgu Halim and also met other Guru Tua (grand master) such as Guru Din and Guru Wan Jaffar.
Beside his activities in Silat Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia Cikgu Bertrand is the first instructor and representative in France for Pencak Silat Gadjah Putih Mega Paksi Pusaka, a Sundanese Martial art originated from the district of Garut in West Java Indonesia.
To respect all his differents past or present teachers and to respect the specificities of every styles or schools of Pencak Silat Cikgu Bertrand teach PSGFM and GPMPP to different and separate group of students inside the strucuture Papensi Metz – Moselle (East of France).
Cikgu Bertrand is also interested and involved in Indonesian traditionnal Massage (Bali and Jawa).
